I originally planned on having hand written journals to log notes, images, plans, wishlists, everything garden related… and the dog ate the first one. So I tried a second one, and it was great until I lost interest in transcribing all the notes from the first one, taping photos in, and then it got put on a shelf and was promptly forgotten about until I just did this make shift photo shoot.
With this being digital, I’m hoping it will be more accessible to me, since my phone is rarely more than a couple feet away from me, it’s where all my photos are stored (so no more having to wait until I get around to ordering prints and then scrapbooking them into the journal), and with this new set up for my iPad, blogging has never been more fun.
I don’t anticipate continuing to post daily, but I’d like to catch up my notes, add a lot of photos, and make this a good source of all the things we’ve learned so far. This way, if the handwritten notebooks get put back on a shelf, I’ll still have everything I need to know in my pocket. I also keep notes in my planner about ideas and inspiration and it will be nice to be able to keep everything in one spot.
